ReplyDeleteWat bloeit alles dan al mooi in jouw tuin zeg. Hier ook de rozen hoor en genoeg andere dingen. Maar ik zie dat je ook al lathyrus in bloei hebt? Ik heb het een tijdje geleden gezaaid en het groeit echt wel, maar voorlopig nog geen bloem te bekennen. Is dat goed? Zou ze al lang moeten bloeien?
Ik wacht het af... ben er zo nieuwsgierig naar...

It's really wonderful here, too, this Summer! My garden is in bloom and full of sweet scented roses and sweet peas! I love sweet peas, which we don't seem to grow in Italy! The first time I saw sweet peas in UK, I thought they were made of silk! I have them growing in my garden, amongst roses and strawberries!
ReplyDeleteI love you pictures and the cup (I have a whole set of the same! They are beautiful!) There's something about roses, isn't there? They seem to suit Northern climates!
I shall soon be in Italy, to take care of my plants, there, the garden and my trees! Can't wait!

Wat een mooie rozenpost en wat staat er veel van bij je in bloei!! Ook het servies is natuurlijk helemaal in stijl :)! Ik heb afgelopen week voor een klimroos gekeken, maar de roos die ik mooi vond was flink aan de prijs. Misschien koop ik hem wel in het najaar, om volgend jaar te genieten van al dat moois!

ReplyDeleteI just love the variety of your roses, and some single petal , some full and all different shades with the coral too. There is a place north of here called Roses of Yesterday and Today., in Watsonville, Calif. and they have hundreds of hard to find roses and have an open house once a year on Mother's day. So amazing , I know you would love it. Hope to go next year but one can order their roses from them starting in the fall.

Dag Madelief. Wat een prachtige rozen alweer. De William Shakespeare vind ik gewoon subliem. Ik zie dat jij al bloeiende reukerwten hebt. Hier staan ze in pot welgemeten zo'n 30 cm hoog. Wat aan de late kant gezaaid, door het slechte weer. Het is dus nog even wachten voor we hier bloei zullen zien. Mooie boeketten en boeketjes en tassen en theepotten alweer in je post! Helemaal passend bij de bloemen.

Madelief, this is so unfair......your beautiful Roses, have me longing for the warmer weather. Although a beautiful sunny day it is still very cold and heavy frosts in the morning. I will have to be very patient. I love Winter, I don't like the heat of our Summers, but I love the flowers that Summer brings and Roses are a favourite.
ReplyDeleteWilliam Shakespeare is just gorgeous and I looooove that beautiful turquoise jug full of flowers. Sweetpeas are another favourite and their perfume makes me giddy ........ I love picking huge bunches of them to bring inside and fill the house with their beauty and scent.....
